Dats cool.
Well, you know my opinions on Mastodon but I am outnumbered on the subject :P

Yeah, you might wanna get your hearing checked or something. Not entirely sure how you can not like Mastodon :/

I personally don't like their brand of progressive metal, the sludge element is pretty boring, and some of the riffs are pretty darn awful.
EDIT: They also lack some character.

The new Warbringer release shall hopefully outdo it.

The Morbid Angel one famously failed though :P/

my fav bands:

Dream Theater
Alter Bridge
Sonata Arctica
Masterplan
Epica

and i wouldn't count them as bands but i like some songs from Celldweller, Blue Stahli and Pendulum.

oh and one more worth mentioning: Chopin is a hero (my favorite piano pieces are his).

and i sometimes listen to jazz because it makes me sort of insane, but a happy kind of insane.

I know, I do like Slayer, they're just not top 5 right now. Also, notice where all 4 of the non-fixed bands played this year... ;D

Biffy was very good live I have to say, and the Paranoid Android cover Weezer did was fun.

Slipknot, ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhno. I don't really like their music and there was too much going on onstage.
