Well that destroys the whole point of HAVING a Q&A thread.

Oddly enough, the lyrics are on his site, just hard to find.

Look 3 comments down. Kinda makes Spoony sound androgynous, doesn't it?

Aw nuts... SpyGuy shows up... and doesn't answer my Gran Turismo related question.  *disappointed*  :P

Well, I probably would have, if I had Gran Turismo ....

Since y'all are on music lyrics, does anyone know what is being said in the beginning of "Fire On High" by Styx, during the creeepy intro part?  (Yes, I DO know, but thought it might be fun to see who else does.)

JD: I dcided to look up a torrent of GT4 soundtrack for you. You need something like µTorrent or Bitorrent to downlad it. (In case you didnt know)

Why do people attach blades to their weapons? It's a 'tradition' I've followed, but never really understood.

Where is the GIB file that allows people to make "Alternate" Irons and such?

It's what you call the newspapers you put down for your untrained puppy.

Input is appreciated. :)

-Relationships these days are like the 'Arrival' section of the airport: a lot of baggage is being revealed in one place, and not a lot of it is being correlated to its real owners...

I still want to have this question answered. Also, how do you stack a control board into a black battery?

GIB files are only for the UI to construct the placement of images in each screen

I don't really understand what you are asking with your blades question. What do you mean? Could you show us an example?  If you give me some more details I will answer your second question a bit later when I have more time to write.

Let's say I want to replace the irons so they have 200000 HP. How can I do this without making a new component?

Look at bounty hunter's small wedges. Notice how there are blades behind them. A lot of other popups do this. Look at PITA 8, it does the same thing:

About the second question, I was in my showcase, showcasing my popup, and Pwnator said:

Quote from: Pwnator;80976
The Snapper II's for the wedge. The Snapper2's the one with the weapons. But yeah, cut down on the extender work and chassis space (if you can stack the CB into the black) and you'll have enough weight for a better wedge or beefier drive. :D

I don't know how to stack a CB into a black battery. I hope that explained it! :)

Protection my friend.  By putting those blades on top of the extenders. It is less likely that the extenders will get damaged and knocked off.  The wedges are vital to the effectiveness to those designs, so protecting the extenders with blades is a great way to keep them on... and the nice thing about the blades is that they are very flat, so it does not hinder the wedge capabilities of the bot.

I think Psycolone first implemented this building technique... but i could be wrong.

Edit: This is how I figured out how to stack a board in a black... (with practice)

I created a max-size guinea pig chassis to test on and placed control boards through the chassis at different heights. The control board set at 4 notches high would hit the sweet spot on a black battery in two different directions. (stacking the battery over the board that is)

I found that the easiest way for me to stack them is to place the control board on the chassis first (four notches up) and then put the battery over it.  If you practice in a super sized chassis you will get an idea of where the sweet spot is for that combo.
