I'm sick of seeing this "WAHHH MY REP" bullsh**...

GF shouldn't be repped down for no reason, but he also shouldn't be repped up just to counteract another member's downvote.

I propose a we get rid of the rep system, but since that won't happen, I have another idea. There may not be a way to do it, but make it so that one or two other members with repping ability have to approve the change.

Say GF does or says something dumb and NFX downvotes him... Then another member would have to approve this change for a positive rep point to show up. Or maybe Naryar reps GF down for no reason again... NFX could not approve this change and his rep would go unchanged.

I say everyone can rep up or down (or remain neutral).  And on top of that, each member can only rep another member once (thus preventing one persistent member from ruining/bolstering someone's rep).

Additional rep points can be awarded by admins for big contributions to the community and such.

Trouble is though, it's easier said than done. Somehow, it's been integrated quite deeply into the system itself, and not even Camsy's been able to remove it.
