This is probably the best explanation. It's not entirely based on what we eat.

I eat all the mentioned things regularly. Almost never exercise, and am in no way overweight.
Therefore, Britain has thin magic.

I never exercise and eat whatever the Hell I want. I have lost nearly 40 pounds in the last 2 months. I work out all I need to at my job, apparently.

I eat whatever I want, eat things for challenges (they said I was mad for trying to eat a whole chicken, they said the same thing about the bacon joint too), and I am only 9 stone something. The only real exercise I get is an 40 minute- 1 hour long stroll in the morning (paper round). Then again, I probably just have an overactive metabolism, or something.
