I must be the only person in the UK who does not give one <expletive> about football. Frankly, I'd rather it was replaced with three hours of Rickrolling.

I support only two teams, Holland and the team playing against England. I don't watch the football either, I just want Holland to win. Do I count as caring about football?

In all seriousness though, I thought it was good to see us win against Sweden- it's finally broken that old curse. Now all that remains is to put Ukraine to bed, and then we're into the Quarters   
 
As for Ireland, even with the 4-0 drubbing they recieved to Spain recently, I'm hoping they'll do well against Italy. As farfetched as it may be to actually win, it'd be a nice consolation prize for them.

Ah yes, the Sweden Curse. Previously, we'd never beaten Sweden in actual competition- and now we have   
 
 
It was also the case that we hadn't beaten them anywhere (Always drew or lost) including friendlies for about 30 years or so. Broke that particular one last year, too   ^^

I wasen't able to do it.
Watching Robot wars did made me learn how to speak words like "snow" and "cheese"
Maybe because our channels are avoiding to directly import program from other countries.
Plus, some dosen't have access to cable channels.
Learning English is somewhat like how animals evolve IMO.(animals gets what they need and takes what they don't need on evolution IIRC, so some japs decided not to learn english. but there is English class on school btw)

Still, for so many new changes for our team, a win is a win- hopefully we'll see them hit their stride properly, soon.

Well yes, that's why I mentioned that it'd probably be farfetched to expect Ireland to win, but as long as they put up a good game, and maybe score against them, that'd be OK as well.
As for me, of course I'd be supporting England mostly, but I wouldn't mind supporting Spain, either.
