But visually, do you prefer TF2 or Battlefield? I prefer TF2 despite being worse technically simply because its more colorful; I couldn't care less if there was some great definition in say, Black Ops; I'll find something as technically average as Super Mario Galaxy more appealing in appearance because its more colorful.

Also, I don't get the now common obsession with realism in shooters. TF2 runs wild in that sense but CoD is tries so hard to be realistic (save for teh zombies) that I simply don't enjoy it.

Apparently not.  You didn't once consider the fact that bleeding out can be fucking annoying (played AA3 and got shot once and bled the fuck out, the game was played at a painfully slow pace as a result).  You also failed to consider that BF has some gun physics of its own.  One of BF:BC2's big selling points was that it had bullet/shell drop and delay whereas COD didn't.

See, I was griefing some chavs on Hardcore on MW2. A day later, I bumped into them again. The argument was epic.

But do you actually really find CoD's visuals appealing? They're well designed but not very interesting at all. That was one of the problems with Mass Effect 2, but they balanced it out by putting it into a Sci-Fi setting; conversely, Metroid Prime had such a great variety of environments that it was nice and fun.

The only annoying people In Bad Company 2 are the snipers in Rush mode that don't do anything but sit in one spot (on offence) and ignore the objective.

@Madman: I think the visuals are only interesting on some maps. Many look similar.

But yes, I recall Fotep mentioning Applejack to be his favourite as well. I think she's pretty cool meself and definitely one of the most badass of the Mane 6- quite remarkable when you consider that one of them can fly at supersonic speeds, whilst another has near-limitless magic powers.
