That's a shame. But it's not fatal if you eat correctly. =)
 
I've got to go back for another blood test a week tomorrow, to test for anemia (sp?). The tests for gluten intolerance were taken outwith Fife, so they're taking a while to get back.

Aye- only diagnosed back in May, spent some time in the Hospital as a result of it- as such, still getting used to it.
Still, in its early stages (where I was), Hypoglycemia is quite easy to treat- just needed to eat something to get it back up.

I think so- I mean, considering Peanuts are high in carbs, they're quite effective in keeping sugar levels up, particularly when used in conjunction with toast. I always preferred Nutella, though

Indeed- Jelly Babies are remarkably effective for that purpose. But that's a common myth with Diabetes- that you can't eat sweet things anymore. It's not true- you can, but you've just got to be more careful in how you do.

Thrush: appears as whitish, velvety lesions in the mouth and on the tongue. Underneath the whitish material, there is red tissue that may bleed easily. The lesions can slowly increase in number and size.

Apparently these are the causes:

Thrush is caused by forms of a fungus called Candida. A small amount of this fungus lives in your mouth most of the time. It is usually kept in check by your immune system and other types of germs that also normally live in your mouth.

However, when your immune system is weaker, the fungus can grow, leading to sores (lesions) in your mouth and on your tongue. The following can increase your chances of getting thrush:

•Taking steroid medications

•Having an HIV infection or AIDS

•Receiving chemotherapy for cancer or drugs to suppress your immune system following an organ transplant

•Being very old or very young

•Being in poor health
