Sorry to hear about that, mate. I know how it feels- was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes the other week.

Actually, sugar is not like Kryptonite to me- I've just got to be careful not to consume too much or too little, otherwise I get a bit ill from very high/low Blood Glucose. In order for it to come close to killing me, I'd probably need to eat a whole Pudding Basin of the stuff washed down with twelve tins of Coke  :P

I think i'm turning into one of those people who DOES NOT put on weight.
I eat a LOT of crap, for example yesterday I had two large chocolate muffins, one small blueberry muffin, a bacon roll, toast with chocolate spread on, a chocolate spread sandwich, two packets of crisps, a cornish pasty, a cheese and onion pasty, a sausage roll, a pack of cookies, a medium bar of galaxy, a small bar of asda chocolate, a lot of random biscuits, my traditional spoonful of sugar when i'm making a cup of tea, and a partridge in a pear tree.

I know I'm one of those people that don't gain weight, I eat very unreasonable foods sometimes without putting on weight, my weight fluctuates inbetween 90-115 pounds. and 115 is after my Grandmother goes insane and secretly starts drugging my food.
