The original from 1953. I saw how they made it, and it was so interesting.

The new one was okay, but the screaming Dakota Fanning was annoying (my brother loved her, and got a signed picture of her). There was one line I liked the most, though,

"LOOK AT THE GODD@MN BIRDS!"

Ah, that's good to hear.

Anyway, Dakota Fanning makes a total of zilch good decisions in that film, doing absolutely nothing but screaming and being carried around. I mean, she's ten years old, you shouldn't even be carrying her across the street, let alone to Pennsylvania (I think).

These were awesome-

Even though George Pal wasn't able to do the tripods, they are still amazing. The designer, Al Nozaki said the ships were manta rays with a cobra on top.
