Tell me about it. I mean, I know there's supposed to be a friendly rivalry between England and Wales, but that's just taking it too far. Whatever happened to the meaning of the word "Sportsmanship"?   

As far as I can work out, "Sporting" nowadays means "Wussy". Football WAS a good sport, but recently things have become absolutely horrendous. The top end, highly paid players are often whiny, arrogant bastards who go down whenever there's a slight breeze, and the majority of the fans - who are essentially ambassadors for their country at venues like the World Cup - are no better. They're the sort of ignorant, loutish, narrow-minded dicks that you'd normally find in gangs on council estates setting wheelie bins on fire and assaulting pregnant teenagers.
 
And the worst part is, these are the sort of people that the younger male generations look up to and admire. It's no wonder that the country's going down the sh**hole, if our role models are people who have egos the size of Jupiter, paychecks that could buy an entire third world country, enough sex partners to start their own branch of Spearmint Rhino, AND get away with it. I believe that every single vacuous, self-centered, ignorant plastic celebrity should be rounded up, taken to the Olympic Stadium in London at the start of the games, and killed with machine-gun fire in front of a worldwide live audience.

Sadly true. With technology seeping its way into every aspect of life, and image becoming increasingly more prevolent as people have less and less time on their hands, there's very little left out there with any actual talent left. Take music as a prime example, you've got mainstream pop stuff, which is usually auto-tuned and edited to within an inch of its life, sold probably on image and hype more than anything else, and is normally extremely repetitive, simple and short, probably no more than three minutes, with lyrics that more often than not, don't say much.
 
At the other end of the scale we have some of the harder bands, such as Tool, and possibly Metallica, whose songs tend to be longer and more complex, sometimes in the ten minute range, with FAR less editing and computerised sounds than mainstream. Much less money is spent on image and advertisement, meaning that they actually have a dedicated group of supporters, rather than the fanbase that considers you old news in about a week as the next new trend comes along. Plus, critically, they play their own instruments, and their songs actually have something to say. Take Tool's "Vicarious", a song about how hypocritical society is, when they express their disapproval at a disaster or a depressing piece of news shown on television, when in reality they are glued to the set, just for a kick of watching a tragedy unfold. It kinda sickens me, knowing that the ones out there with true talent are often being overshadowed by the Cheryl Coles and the Justin Beibers of the pop world.

I personally hate all non-singing celebrities, especially female ones (sorry if sexist, i just think they take advantage of EVERYTHING and think they can do whatever they want)
Police should watch the celebrities more than us normal folks.
