Odd, that. Scotland have qualified for the World Cup 7 times, I think. More than most nations in the world. Unfortunately, they have also been knocked out in the group stages of the World Cup 7 times.

The reason I think Rubgy is better than Football is that there is no celebrity culture or lifestyle attached to it. Most of the top footballers, such as Wayne Rooney, Christiano Ronaldo, people of that nature, seem to me to be overrated and overpaid whiny b_stards who seem to screw up more often than not. Plus their wives seem to be able to make ludicrous amounts of money by doing absolutely f_ck all. What a godawful group of ambassadors for humanity they are.

I agree that all that's a load of trash, but in sporting terms, IMHO, football is better, except for the divers.

Try taking a shoulder tackle to your ribs. Rugby players do, and they keep playing. Footballers seem take to the ground every time someone looks at them a bit funny.
