Any FPS > Battlefield.
They ripped off Call of Duty since COD4 was released:
COD 4 released, BF release Bad Company 1
WaW = Battlefield 1943
MW2 = BC2
Black Ops = Vietnam Expansion Pack
MW3 = BF3
I wonder what they'll do with BO2
The amount of stupid in that post is painful.
Explain or go away.

Releasing a game of the same genre =/= copying. Besides, these games have to be in development for about a year, and you need to know what you're doing before you start making it, so the idea that Dice could have copied Treyarch or IW or vie versa is completely stupid.

Not necessarily.

BC1 came out a while after COD4
The MW games were pretty much confirmed as well.
And the other games/expansion packs came out a while after Treyarch's games were released.

And I agree with the first point, but you don't see me saying Left 4 Dead is a copy of Crysis because THE SETTINGS, STORYLINE AND GAMEPLAY ARE DIFFERENT. (don't give me crap that BF included vehicles, CoD also had vehicles in Single Player, and BF3 only added Jets)

Also, in BF3, the storyline was very similar to Black Ops.

In case you guys haven't figured it out, Jonzu is only going to consider something that is popular in the mainstream. He won't even try something that is somewhat obscure.

It's that way with everything for him... Music, movies, games....
Indeed...I mean, good luck trying to get him to play something like Zelda rather than a generic FPS.

BF1942 is still the only FPS I have installed on my computer.  :P

Saw a trial version avail for download on Xbox live.  Tried it out, its not as much fun as on my compy.

Looking up... I still see my big yellow Counter Strike Source box set on the shelf. Those were the days.

How long is "a while"? If it's only a few months, then you're wrong. It takes more than a few months to code an 8-bit game, let alone one of today's standards.

Battlefield 1942 is pretty good, just saying.

I'm not a FPS guy, but I would recommend the latter, Quake III and Serious Sam (the whole series)

1943's pretty good too.

Also, Jonzu, try Daikatana. I heard it's the next Halo.
No, I dislike Cyber FPS games.

Spring Time: New CoD storyline revealed
November: CoD is released
Next Spring: New BF

The only one that doesn't follow the pattern is BF3, but it was pretty much confirmed MW3 was coming out anyway.

As I said, try Arma 2 then. It's more realistic than Battlefield and is generally a fuller game.
