Speaking of which, what's the big deal about shops down in England not wanting to accept Scottish money? It's exactly the same denomination, just with different people on them. We still accept your notes.
I've no idea on that one. Why would they do that, though? I'm no expert on finance, but other than the guys you get printed on them, is there really any major difference between English and Scottish money?

Interestingly, The Bank of England is a Scottish invention. :gawe:

Nope. One pound to the pound.

This did come up when I was at Silverstone for the British Formula 1 race this year, I wanted to buy a Force India hat from one of the stands. I went to pay for it, and I accidentally gave him the only Scottish £20 note I had. Two things then happened. First, he gave me the usual lecture about "keep your sort north of the border", and such. Secondly, I received a McLaren hat.

Much like how Haggis was created by the Romans, and Golf and Tartan were actually invented in China- probably off on a tangent, but figured it'd be worth mentioning    :approve:

I think that the only the in Scotland that's better is their education system.

But I'm in a Government-funded Grammar school (which is a brilliant school, I'll have you know) and top of my year (almost), so I don't really care :gawe:

Well, that's SKBT for you. Not trying to start anything here, but whilst I did willingly and gladly apologise to GK over the incident a few weeks back, I'm not sorry to SKBT for yelling at him over PM- he should know by now that if he does that, he should know full well what's coming to him. If anything, I've had far worse PMs and never felt the need to cry and hide behind a mod about it.

Likewise, look at those reasons in your case, Smashy- those aren't valid reasons at all. "Beavis" and "Butthead" and nothing else...he's supposed to be responsible.

I know my actual reasons. But I feel buttfrustrated when he just put Beavis and Butthead. If you're gonna rep me down, at least tell the world of GTM what I did wrong instead of telling me.

And I don't understand how people like Marty turned on me after I turned on Jonzu because he wanted me to die.

GTM, I hold grudges. Don't judge me because of that.

just leave it gf and smashy, it's just a number.

ohaider Jake, have you seen Gaz on skype recently?

Dammit stop posting before me >.<

And marty didn't turn on you, he just wanted you guys to leave jonzy alone.

Smashy: I repped you down for aggressive posting lately like I told you about in that PM last week, when i gave you the "butthead" rep. Also would you rather be repped down for reasons like "Beavis" and "Butthead" or poor quality posts and aggressive posting? I'll try to be more serious with my rep down reasons if you want. I've been doing the humorous ones because I thought it looked better than serious reasons because the funny ones dont reflect as poorly on people who get repped down.

GF I've got a question, so in your world view you never do anything wrong? If it was just me who thought you deserved a rep down someone else would have put your rep back up and Nary agreed with me on the rep down being appropriate. Get over it and move on, but if you want to hold a grudge against me, feel free to. It doesn't affect me, and if I really wanted to "abuse my power", I would have repped you down for a personal attack right now.

I'd rather you be brutally honest.

That's the way I treat and respect people. Which is why I totally respected infy when he was here =P
