Yeah, that's what I thought first. But actually it was the ISP that didn't seem to get last month's payment. We phoned them during the weekend, but all we got was an automated message saying "everything is fine on our side, have you tried turning it off and on again?".

I was playing Mario Kart Wii with Picnic and my sister a while back. He was using the Dolphin Dasher, and failing. When we got round to choosing our karts again, he for some reason chose it again. Once he'd driven off the track for the 9001'st time, I  told him that I didn't think he was suited to it. All he replied was:



"BUT IT'S A DOLPHIN!"

You actually get booted for doing that. My friend and I were playing some kids online and they kept picking Rainbow Road, so we said, "**** it," and decided to drive backwards. After, I don't know, 30 seconds or so we got a friendly message of "You have been disconnected from the Nintendo WiFi Network." Those jerks!

Picnic and I got booted the other day. I think it was because we won DK Snowboard Cross like a lap ahead of everyone else.

Ah the joys of online matchmaking. This was the nail in the coffin for my Wii. I just torrunted MKW, thinking that finally it's gonna be a fantastic online game, but no. The matchmaking system is awful.

I sold my Wii and bought myself a netbook.

Nintendos Wi-fi network is run by *ssholes. You get booted for kicking ass.

Although the graphics are good.

It's far too focused on everybody being nicey-nicey and having fun. You shouldn't get kicked out for being good at driving.

That's why the only reason I have kept mine is the actually active gaming part. Other than that I'd sell it and get a mac.

If X-box follows in wiis footstpes and does the active gaming thing, goodbye wiitard.

No, the graphics aren't good. It's a goddamn Gamecube with an additional chip that does Wiimote, wifi, higher memory addresses and DRM.
