Oh, and its pretty funny watching it now-a-days, as we now actually understand more of the jokes they throw at us.

I liked that show.

Its incredibly funny how they often had Rocko dressed up as a female talking to himself, whenever he dreamed of women.

IIRC, that often happened when he dreamed.

His best friend was pretty funny to listen to, even if Hef was a very plain, and anything but thought out name

Am I the only one who felt unclean watching this show?  I've seen far raunchier stuff in other places but this just felt like they were doing an exercise in how much gross stuff they could fit in and still call it a kids' show.

Yea.. Except Ren & Stimpy was 500 time worse.

After pondering further, I think it's that they were animals, that was my problem with "Rocko."  I felt like, if I watched it for too long it would abruptly lurch into "furry"territory and I was playing a game of chicken that I did NOT want to lose.

@J,  would it surprise you to learn that my opinion of Ren & Stimpy was "I wouldn't touch that with a 50-foot pole"?

Actually, it wouldn't.
I'm one of the non-existent-population of people who hardly ever saw any episodes of Ren and Stimpy.
Thing is, that show was just too vulgar for me. I really wasn't surprised when they re-made the show as an "adult version".
Hell, Ive even seen all of Invader Zim, and it doesn't even come close to Ren & Stimpy.

But really, we need to get back on topic.
