My car's gonna need a security system of some sort...I was considering just taking the wheel off as I get out. That'ss show 'em, especially as they'll need a special boss to mount any wheel to the steering column.

Or just unplug the distributor. I love having such an easy car to modify.

Quick release steering wheels, FTW. Like in racecars, man...

>cherry bomb
>carbon hood

(Image removed from quote.)

At least he didn't get a fartcan and paint the hood black to make it look like carbon fiber.

cherry bomb = fartcan

*facepalm

I hope you know the difference between manufacturers and products lol.

It's not glasspacks btw.

Also, at least it isn't an Oldmobile.

He's right you know...

Cherry Bombs are in no way the same as a fartcan. Cherry Bomb is a brand of glass pack, which is a muffler replacement. Fartcans are exhaust tips.

Hey, at least the Oldsmobile doesn't make me look like I pay for groceries with foodstamps.

I don't even know what that is supposed to mean, but whatever...

You know about as much about cars as a common house plant... A plastic one.

To be a successful troll, you really should have some knowledge of what you're talking about. I bet you're one of those fags that puts a picture of a British vehicle with a standard transmission saying sh** like "HURR... WUT IS DA TURD PETAL FER!?" on 4chan. That is not trolling, that is imitating.

Be gone, Failtroll.

But it does make you a douchebag that is jealous of anyone else who has a nicer car apparently.

Don't be hatin just because you're driving your momma's car.

Besides, I'm pretty sure just the exhaust alone on my car could buy a nicer car than what you drive.

Not exactly quick-release, but easy to unbolt from the steering column. I might end up just taking the starter motor out, see what they'd do then. Especially as my rear bumper doesn't have a hole for the turn-over handle.

Why not a kill switch or a stealth kill switch like this one.

Because it's easier to unbolt and rebolt stuff on my car than fit a modern security system.

Cheaper to just take off the steering wheel each time.

Headers... Check.
Dual exhaust... Check.
X-pipe... Check.
Cherry Bombs... Check and Check.
Dual chrome tips on each pipe... Check.

Yeah... I'm pretty sure the exhaust alone worth more than the Moldsmobile.

Not really jealous bro, I've had more than enough opportunities to buy cars like yours and have turned them down because I'm looking for something that isn't a pile of slag and plastic.

Sadly, everyone in Lancaster is an inbred retard who doesn't know how to reply to emails or text messages, so finding a good car that I can actually contact the buyer of has been difficult.

Just out of curiosity, your profile says you're 12 years old, do you actually drive?

P.S. all cars newer than the 1930s have steel and plastic in them nowadays, no avoiding that.

Maybe... Flowmaster may be the better choice, though. Magnaflow seems to overprice their products.

But yes, if you just want to be able to hear the engine and not necessarily wake up the entire neighborhood, I would go with one of the two.

Should I bother getting a sport exhaust for mine?

All the exhaust is is the manifold going straight into the side of the silencer. Not very long.

If the silencer is what we Americans call a muffler, then it would probably be replaced, as well.

No, a sport exhaust is just a longer manifold. The silencer ends up lengthways across the back, pointing to the side, rather than pointing straight out the back.

I'm guessing sport exhaust = long tube headers? Is there any reason not to get them?

No, sport exhaust = longer manifold, like so:

with a silencer on the end.

And I was wondering whether it's worth spending the money for that when I could buy an alternator conversion or twin pancake air-filters, or twin carbs.

I will feed you my automotive upgrade wisdom...

"Do not deliberate over which upgrade you should or shouldn't get.  Instead, focus on which one you should buy first and which one you should buy second."

Ultimately, aim to do it all.

BTW, the reason I haven't been active on the forums much lately (or building bots for that matter):

Bunch of pics in Spoiler.  Basically, I am doing a massive teardown on my RX7 to clean it up.  I put it away in the garage in '05 because I ran out of time and money to keep it on the road.  My goal is to have it cleaned up and running again by next year.  I was sick of the ugly stained stock carpet in the car, so I removed it.  I'm probably going to spray the interior with bedliner instead and wipe everything out but the essentials to lighten the load.  So far I have removed about 100 pounds of unnecessary crap to offset the 100+ pounds of car audio that I usually have installed.  Started doing body work this past week... and the car is in terrible need of a new paintjob.  :P
