Not a film, but I used to be terrified of the Henry Vacuum Cleaners.
I still have one actually  :yaya)

This is how you seperate the men from the boys.

The only thing that scared me was when I was 8. I watched ghost caught on tape. When I was 8. RAN OUT OF MY ROOM CRYING AND SCREAMING.

I saw Indiana Jones and the temple of doom as a kid.  Gave me teh nightmares from the "ripping heart from chest" scene.

HAHAHA I found it on Youtube!
I take no responsibility for any of you losing sleep...

Oh, and once I was rewinding a video tape to watch... Weekend at Bernies I think... and I caught the scene in Aliens where Bishop gets ripped in half.  Freaked me the heck OUT! But, made me fascinated in horror/sci fi films from that day forward.    :gawe:

I still think that the two most frightening moments in movies of all time were the "pink elephants on parade" scene from Dumbo and the entireity of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

This Aristocats scene scared me like heck when i was a kid.

As well as some scene in a half real actors/half toon film (maybe some Roger Rabbit) where they were drenching a living toon sock in a liquid that was supposed to kill it or something.

Goddamn, these memories must be 10 years old or more...

Just for you, Nary  ;)

And the name of the Liquid is "The Dip", which is composed of various paint thinners, and the only thing that can kill Toons outright.

And just to revive this thread...

Something I discovered not too long ago. I'm technically cheating with this one because it's an advert, but there's something extremely creepy about it. Could be one of these factors-

- The unnerving Piano Music throughtout
- The voice
- The Fridge Horror Implications with the paper dolls
- The scare chords
- And that creepy picture of Smokey right at the end.

One thing's for sure though...
I will never. Sleep. Again.
