Hitler did bring Germany out of its depression.

People die every day, why is he so special?

Are you really that oblivious...?

You call me ****ing oblivious?

Yes, because you seemed like that.

Didn't the constitution say that "all men are created equal"? If I died right now, nobody would give a sh**. Steve Jobs dies, everyone cares. Everyone talks about how his stealing of scientific inventions to paint white and call it a fruit was pure genius. Jobs gets my respect, but if we took the time to feel sorry for everyone who's ever died, all of us combined wouldn't have the time on our hands. And then they tell Ijustine that they're ing sorry for her. When Bill Gates dies, I might as well go tell Hitler that I'm sorry for his loss. Someone dies every day, Jobs isn't special. Grow some goddamn balls and move on.
He's famous, so people give a sh**. Deal with it.
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.

I'm just saying that you should generally respect deceased people (especially if he/she did nothing wrong to you)
You wouldn't go into the obituary section of your local newspaper and start drawing devil horns and Adolf mustaches on people's faces.

I just saw this in Equestria Daily, and God all those people posting RIP and respect just bothers me to no end.

I don't know him.  I won't pretend to, even if everybody in the world tells me I "should".  The honest part of me admits that I am very indifferent about this event.

Which leads me to wonder how many people are actually sincere when they post all those RIP and respect.

Well I certainly respect him, and the people I know respect him. Maybe it is because we know without him, all of our technology wouldn't be where it is today and we are thankful for that.

If you look closely, you'll see me trolling in there. :trollface

And, yeah, I have just as much respect for him as for everyone else, but will thousands of people update their facebook page about me when I die? Well, maybe if I become famous....

I'm slightly indifferent about this, too. Just as I'm indifferent about Tesla or any of those guys. But that doesn't mean I don't have respect for them. That's pretty much it. It DOES get on my nerves when they extend their indifference towards others (like those on EqD, actually). And bigots who simply spout hate just because his products are associated with hipsters should just off.

Enigma's just a mild case, because he's a kid. But this...

ing hypocrite.

So he died ? Couldn't care less.

Why yes, the iPod WAS a good idea, and Macs are certainly good if you don't care about all the restrictions... but i'm not a Mac guy (even though I'm wearing a Mac Tshirt at the moment, but I just wear it because it's mine really, not for mac), and will probably never be.

Respect for him ? Didn't knew him well enough for respect.

And yes, that massive Internet self righteous uproar amuses me and confuses me as well. I mean, who in their right mind would suddenly feel sympathy for a guy they didn't really know, apart from the probably shining image of him carried by the media ?

Can't help but feel like they're joking, that post just sounds like "this is what they're expecting us to say"  Fifty bucks says the Phelps family is a no-show

Let's hope so. I think they're one of the few examples of human beings I've seen with absolutely no positive qualities- even other monsters had some degree of intelligence, charm or charisma.

Well actually they are very successful trolls, so they must be charismatic enough to annoy people so well, and they must be cunning enough to find the right words, so nope GF :P
