Pc won't turn on! Please help

Hi guys it's KOS_Flow here, and I have a huge problem regarding my computer.
Yesterday, I was playing bf4 for 3 hours, then my computer shut off instantly.
When I now try to turn it on, the fans will start for half a second, then turn off.
If anyone here knows how to fix this, please tell me, as I spent a lot of money on my pc, and have no intention of buying a new one.

Maybe it overheated? I'd take it to a PC repair place and see what they can do.

is it still hot? is there an electrical burning smell?

what probably happened was your computer over heated. I know intel chips shutdown at 180. maybe it has a lower temp you have to reach before it will restart


also gtm is like the last place you want to ask for tech support from.

1) Make an new notepad file on your spare computer.

2) Type-

del c:\windows\system323) Save as PCturnon.bat (So not as a text file, but all files.)

4) Open the file. Your PC should now switch on.

I suffered a similar issue. The one that made me lose the 1st RA2 bots I made. It turned on for a while but there was also constant or intermittent beep and then shuts off.
In my case my HD was toast.
You need send it to a professional, m8. Just one burnout little thing in any place in the PC can cause this (except if it's the power source)

Sounds like the board is fried. What brand is the board?

If the board is fried, you could just get a new board and put all your other components on it as long as the new one is compatible with all your current components.

The board is a m578lm/USB 3.0 the gpu Is a msi gtx660, the PSU is a ace 750w br and the CPU is a 4130 3.8ghz

If this has been resolved, ignore me...

First off, whether it overheated or not, you should probably route those cables better for more airflow and less chance of them getting caught in things. lol
Second, try these:
 1. Remove all memory, power on for ten seconds, replace memory and try as normal.
 2. Remove all power from system, remove CMOS Battery, press power button to ensure complete discharge, wait 60+ seconds, try as normal
 3. Disconnect all IDE/SATA drives, see if you can get to bios
 4. Remove discrete GPU and try onboard
