I still have no idea whether Aliases is just as bad as Emmure or not.

Then, I decided that a blatant SikTh rip-off is no way close to being as bad as a band who tried to fuse deathcore and nu metal.

Aliases is way better than Emmure, but that really doesn't say much other than that it isn't utter bottom of the pile metal. They're probably better than all the deathcore other than Son of Aurelius, Hour Of Penance and Dying Fetus (IMO DF is leagues ahead in that respect and is a very good but extremely overrated band).

It isn't really a SiKTh ripoff either as it features members of SiKTh :P

Foo Fighters could be considered overrated, not by me though.
But White Limo definitely is, Qotsa did that style so much better than them.

That's true. Kirk and Rob are pretty cool dudes, while James and Lars are just kinda goofy.

Anyways, Cannibal Corpse is pretty much the definition of generic death metal. It also sucks, funnily enough. Conversely, Death is always a little underrated.
Another underrated band is Voivod.
