I have been buying Toshiba for about 5 years, and had one total piece of junk, and my favorite one lasted 2 years and then the motherboard went bad and they wanted over $600.00 to fix after keeping it for about 8 months. If it goes bad after warranty......just go buy a new one and don't mess with them. They did fix 2-3 that were still under warranty and got them back to me pretty quick.
Just curious, is your CPU an AMD or Intel? AMD has a pretty bad reputation for their mobile processors.
Damn Nary for not waiting for a suggestion: the Toshiba Libretto!
