Getting into some new thrash bands. Wasn't a fan of this heavier stuff, but I've gotten used to it now and it's pretty great. I still hate death metal though.

(not saying this is heaviest, just saying I'm straying away from Metallica/Megadeath for the first time in my life :P )

Eh, I wouldn't call Venom thrash myself XD Like Mercyful Fate, they're kind of NWOBHM bordering on Black Metal. They mostly influenced thrash rather than shared its key dynamics XD

To be honest, I was just listening to it at that moment for a particular battle... the fact that I was underlevelled and failed miserably has nothing to do with it.
