i've got the stream going again. will hopefully be able to keep it up the entire evening. will probably be letting it play random tracks on the background and do other stuff. meanwhile, i hope you people can enjoy my odd taste in music, and whatever other stuff i added.

I'm still working on a nice interface for all of this, including software for DJs. I also bought some VPS hosting (256MB RAM, 10GB HDD, 200GB bandwidth) for two months, on a german IP address, hopefully this will host the website and all.

yesterday evening i wanted to announce that i was going to shut down, thus close the stream, but... when i wanted to plug the pc into the screen, my pc crashed and the fans were spinning at an extremely high speed, they were very loud. nothing inside overheated as far as i were able to feel with my bare hands (that's kinda how reckless i can be). all i did before was playing something on my PS3. and changing DVI plug hasn't been a problem before. oh well, i'll get the stream back up now. http://nectarine.q3k.org:1240/

and sparkey, Radioactivity isn't that good. i have listened to it and it's even in the list, but it's not good.

and Noodle, you should be a DJ! =D

Anyway guys, the streaming system should be all ready in a day or two. Yesterday I hacked until 4AM and I now have a server to which DJs connect, each with heir own username & password, and from there they can take over the stream, add songs to and from the queue, speak via a mike, play a song from the server, have full control over it.

When no DJ is present and when the queue is emptied, the system shut downs and switches to a public web interface, from which you, the users, can vote on songs upload them, comment on them, and queue them yourselves.
