Geocaching!

What are you guy's thoughts on the world-wide scavenger hunt known as Geocaching? I went out today and the adventure is pretty fun, lots of different places to go to. http://www.geocaching.com/

My freind tried to get me to do it and we did find 1 or 2 but then never again bothered with it.

WTH is this?

I looked at the site and it confused me more :S

Basically you enroll on a site (either geocaching or my favourite, opencaching). You can then view a map of the world with a lot of caches (usually tupperware containers with hidden gifts inside). You then get a handheld GPS unit, put in the coordinates and use them to hunt down the cache (sometimes it's not exact, some of the caches move...). Once you found it, you can take anything from it provided you put in something else. It's a very fun way to connect IRL via the internet.
