The films were pretty bad, and unbelievable at most parts. Also very samey, crushed, crushed, crushed, sushi'd,sushi'd,sushi'd,moaaaar crush.
And if you cheat death you seem to deserve to die painfully and in agonisingly excruciating pain, lets say burning alive, or like getting stabbed, stabbed again then exploded. As System32 said, they're gornos.
Edit:First one was alright.

-Great band, hopefully more up soon.

The first, and the second, were fine in my opinion. The third was pushing it, and the fourth was very bad, even the special effects sucked.

I wish the movies had some normal deaths in them, everything is extreme, "You deserve to die in a fire" type stuff.

The fourth conflicts with canon of the whole media. It was basically a big "THIS NEVER HAPPENED" that went on for an hour.

I watched the first 5 minutes of the 3rd one and it seems to be about some wigger saying he's "old-school".

Saw the previews for this movie.
IMO, its like a crazy-ass version of Saw.
...Though it does seem interesting.

Saw actually has murderers in it and ways to get yourself out, not to mention there is a moral lesson earned for each victim.
Back to Final Destination, great concept, the results aren't as what they are meant to be. The acting should be alot better, more insomnia (like they know somebody is after them) But they are in fact loosing the creative edge, (Acu-Puncture scene was from 1000 ways to die)
Edit....
This guy creates his own Saw traps in Claymation form. The visuals may be ok, the voice acting ok, but the music and the concepts are genius.

Then there were the X-rays, and that escalator death.

1st - Good balance of death and an actually good storyline.
2nd - Lacks a storyline, but is still okay.
3rd - The majority of the deaths were blows to the head, lacks a storyline.
4th - Self-parody anyone? They just simplified the thoughts of everyone who knows of the movies and hasn't seen it yet.

5th one might be good, I'll watch it. Can't be as bad as the 4th one.

As long as David Koechner keeps his mouth shut in this movie, it won't self parody itself.

Being a Metacritic, I was able to attend a preview showing with my dad. The movie was definitely better than the 4th and 3rd movies. There were some holes that need to be filled with the 6th and 7th movies, but whatever. I still closed my eyes during all the deaths. XP

I still think the 1st was better than the 2nd, but that's just me. :P

Good point. Definitely one of the nastiest deaths in the entire series, yet also impossible. Think about it- how does condensation from a drink travel that far?
How does it conviently seep right into the workings, and into the exact processor that makes the heating element go up?
How did they not notice the rising heat sooner?
How does a coat stand conveniently fall right into a position to lock the lids shut?
