Well since my avatar didn't work anymore I decided to get a better and a free solution to create animated gifs. Now on every single page on cnet it pledges that their downloads are malware and spyware free. Well isn't that nice cause now my laptop is again a paper weight. And now the recovery manager ceases to work. If I were you id stay out o cnet. This was typed on my Droid.

CNET is a part of CBS, owned by Sumner Redstone, who also owns VIACOM and MTV.
The jist is, while he's filing huge lawsuits against Youtube for copyright infringement as VIACOM, CNET has distributed a number of P2P software enroaching into the billions. which is legal until they promote using it for copyright infringement, which they are. They also have DRM removal software and other purpose-built copyright infringing software to download, even Youtube video ripping software.

SPIKE is part of MTV, and takes sh**tons of viral videos off Youtube without permission through the User Videos upload (Moderated, but you can pretty much get anything through) and slaps advertising around it so they get sponsor-paid to copyright infringe on Youtube users.

So Sumner is suing Youtube for mass copyright infringement while he's copyright infringing off Youtube, making money off them, and promoting piracy.
