You should see what it looked like when we started.... Most of what we've done is mechanical

400 like most 1969 GTOs, they also came with a 455 HO that was the primary engine on the 70. No ram air though, which is probably a good thing.

When my family is in a better financial situation hopefully we'll start work on putting the Iso Grifo in the garage back together and getting it all repainted and stuff.

No Ram Air from the factory may be somewhat of a rarity for a GTO.

Nice car, K-3. I'm a Chevy fan as you know, but your car is coming along nicely.  :)
If I still lived in MA, I would give you a hand with engine/drivetrain input...
Input is appreciated. :)

I know I've posted about this before, but after ten years of sitting my car finally runs again!

I've sunk a sh**load of money into this thing in the past 2 months.

This is pretty cool Kill, I've always liked seeing pictures of cars without parts of the body, if makes them feel like less of an every day item and more like the rugged machines they are underneath.

Ram Air III was only standard on The Judge in 1969. And I was mistaken, the 455 HO wasn't available till 1970. Up until 1969 you could either get the 400CI with a 2 barrel or 4 barrel. I've got the 4.

Thanks Mad, the drivetrain is actually coming along quite nicely. It doesn't quite run right because the Carb dried out after sitting for ten years, but it is alive. I need a new alternator and power steering pump. I've already done a new clutch and everything, just need some bearings for the shifter linkage to make it shift smoother.

I'll have to see if I can find the pictures of when I brought it home back 6 years ago, before we did anything to it then. I think you'd really enjoy that then.
