Alright, box has arrived and been opened. Now I spill the beans, even though I think SKBT sniffed this out from a mile away... :P
So, after I paid for the Mouser CD the seller sent me a quick message saying that he was going to throw in a Dr. Inferno soundtrack for giggles. I replied that I am a huge Battlebots/Robot wars fan & asked that he let me know if he posts anything else for sale on eBay. His response to that was something along the lines of "Sooooo, what are you looking for?" I told him that I wasn't really interested in any of the toys but would love some artifacts from the Battlebots glory days.
At this point he lets me know that he is Jason Bardis, creator of Dr. Inferno, Towering Inferno, etc etc. I just about carpped my pants and couldn't believe I didn't make the connection sooner, because I had seen his Lego Battlebots for sale on eBay back in April and went to his website. I didn't realize that I had bid and won from the same ebay seller.
So, I told him I wasn't looking for anything in particular... and offered to just shoot him some cash in exchange for a box of stuff from BB and preferably a piece of Dr. Inferno / Towering Inferno that I could cherish and hold close to me at night while I sleep.
He was wicked cool about it and agreed. He explained that he had some stuff collecting dust and even though Dr Inf and Tower were empty shell on display he would dig up some pieces that were used on those bots back in the day. So, he dug around boxed everything up and I waited for a week as the package voyaged from California to Vermont.

The Loot:
Mouser CD (rockin' will encode it and make it available to you guys)
Dr Inferno Soundtrack with cool autograph from Jason <3
Dr Inferno Soundtrack (Sealed... will be used as a prize in my upcoming tournament this Fall)
Battlebots Calendar from 01 or 02 I forgot, but it can be reused in 2013 :D
Battlebots the official Magazine issue 1 and issue 2
Huge PTC decal (unused)
an array of unused decals that never made it to bots over the years.
Battlebots competition handout guide for 1999 and 2000 (awesome stats and info about registered bots)
Battlbots the official guide. Huge book with tons of info and pictures from pre 2001 era
Robot Riots... A kinda cheesy book with info about general robotics and some tidbits of the popular bots of that time.
Unused Towering Inferno Vinyl Decal
Two heavy duty bolts from Dr Inferno Jr. and Towering Inferno.
All in all, pretty cool score. Lots of cool information / reading material. I am most excited about the unused Vinyl Decal. I am gong to think up something to craft involving the bolts and the decal to put behind my bar. It will take a bit of time to construct it.
Also, Jason is an awesome nice dude. I told him about GTM and he was a little familiar with the forum. He thinks its cool that we keep the game RA2 alive. :D
