I'm guessing the smart zones I used are 2.1.

Does any other bot shut down?

Okay so its not the smart zone (Killer Toolbox uses the same smart zone) I'll try and figure it out when I can.

I'm playing around a bit with a few ideas, but I got a quick question for you.  Would you allow a bot that can be built in real life, but there's no way in game to build it realistically?  What i'm talking about is a ring spinner.  The concept works in real life, it's like a shell spinner, but instead of spinning an entire shell, it just spins an outer ring.  This allows for the wheels to come out the top, and effectively makes it an invertible shell spinner.  The problem is, the only way i can think to build one in game is in a very unrealistic way.

Basically, i'm asking are you wanting actual realistic builds, or are realistic concepts good enough?

here's a screenie, i'm sure you can see the problem.

I realise this could open a nasty can of worms, and that's why i'm asking ahead of time.

Vertigo, the bots you sent me are no way realistic!
They have flail shell spinners, metalhinge wedges and weapons passing through each other. Did you see the level of realism I posted on the first post?

Stag, about the wedges:

Original Sin, SJ, Pinball and the 2010 Sewer Snake have hinged wedges. So hinged wedges are realistic.
My above post explains everything about everything.

I dont beleive anyone would have a peice of metal on a door hinge in front of their bot in real life.

(I'm not trying to start a fight here)

Your right typically piano hinges are used. But in all seriousness even my bot technically has a hinged wedge. (the lifter can be lowered below the bots wheels to touch the ground) I personally don't have a problem with skirt hinges but I don't like how the wedges are longer than the bot on most DSL bots so maybe you could say only 80cm and below for wedge length.

As explained before, metal hinge wedges are realistic
One of your bots in the beta version is a flail ss
Which of them has components passing through each other?

OK, I'll change the flail ss to a static ss
Could you please define which other bots are 'unrealistic' & why

They are not designs that would be built in real life.
