Chassis pack?
« on: November 10, 2009, 10:54:00 AM »
I've noticed that people have a hard time stacking and such, so I wondered, Would you guys like to have a pack of chassi with stacked items such as batteries, or would it be considered cheap?

I mean, it would help out newbies first hand, it would bost productivity and may be useful to some of the other builders like Nary, Pwn and Red (Who has trouble stacking)

The idea is an assortment of chassi with the batteries attached. The chassi should have plenty of space for motors and extenders, and the occasional AAM edit(DSL only).

The chassi are not GENERIC. They all with have Stacking or AAM. Control boards stacked into the batteries, Double and triple black stacks and other things. Even the occasional extender. Also, most of the chassi must be multi purpose. No VS only or Popup specific chassis, however I may allow one or 2 to slip in if needed.

would you like it?

A REAL builder has to stack, and restack, sometimes 25-30 times (or more) before it is right, so I would not find it useful.

And AAMed chassis should NOT be released because of cheating in tournaments with it.

I am sure some LEGAL BUILT chassis's would be appreciated, but they should not be AAMed or even bot file edited lower, or alter the chassis.

I think I made a mistake on the bot file one. I mean chassi that are lowered like some of Naryar's and some ones with the big 6TWMRs in it.

Against this 100%. I still, much like the AAM discussion, see stacking batteries as a writ of passage, something that all builders have to learn at some point in their building career.

Pwnator is the guy who like stacks 4 blacks and 2 blacks an CBs. He needs no help stacking (that is, if he isn't lying about AAM... :D)
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

A rites of passage for stacking? Haha... you guys must be clueless how easy it'd be to fake it.

I'm against this. People need to learn how to stack on their own.

We could have gotten the message without that caps and language, Duck. A simple vote and comment would have sufficed quite nicely.

I don't really like it, it'll inevitalby lead to a bunch of unintentioanly samey designs,  And I'm sure there'd be a strong uprising against using such things in BOTM or certain torunies,

I can't stack 4 blacks. :O

Or at least I don't remember doing it. I found stacking two blacks easy. I just spend more of the time with the CB/third black. :D

But yeah, they should know learn to be patient enough when stacking. But AAM could always be taught if it's for DSL realistic purposes.

I am for this idea.

I hate spending 30 minutes just to stack 2 damn blacks.
