Not soon, but pretty close.

I'll be posting up the new set soon.

As soon as all the components are made I'll begin asking for submissions for bots...

I suppose you'll release all the components before asking for submissions.

Somewhere between Gigafrost and starcore. I'm looking towards a mix between Realistic and classic stock style bots.

Hey, How'd you guys beef up the chassis armour in DSL, I'm going to do it too as one of the improvements.

Armor definitions are in the RA2.cfz in the main directory.

Ofcourse you need Lu-Tze's CFZ decomplier/complier.

Oh.

Riiight.

I'll get in that... soonish...

In a lighter note, here's what I've done to the blades and Pole spikes:

I noticed they weren't being used much, and I was about to put them as 7 KG when I had a brainstorm from Nary's earlier post: They are too heavy.

I lightened them up so the pole spikes are adding 1 KG each length and the Blades are adding 2.
AW's and BW's are gonna be easier to make now, Eh?

Also all the wheels. Change the hitpoints, weight and maybe the grip a little (eg. the rubbers and N12's being more grippy)

Yeah. Considering what you told me.. you ought to have some preeeetty high HP wheels. Probably the higher end of the DSL strengths (2500~4000)

help.

Redline gave me a very important link so I didn't need to use the PC's calculator, I've been making all the components and stuff, Nar and SSG beta tested and pointed out flaws and you gave me the component files.

The last spots are for anyone who wan't to update the spashes after the components are made, any AIer who wants to help or any decent bot submitter.

The fracture values are really high. IMO the only things that would really have high fracture values would be ramplates and maybe square extenders, as well as really heavy weapons like battle axes and sledges.

Also if you don't balance the weapons everyone is gonna pounce on the best ones just like in stock.

And when i'm thinking of it... you better take the stacking factor into value (for the batteries mainly). Or you're going to request a realistic rule ??

Between 20 and 500... 20 being the pole spike (I think it should be more damaging but weaker BTW... it's pretty sharp) and 500 being the ramplate.

Most weapons near 100-200, battleaxe 300, plow something like 350, sledge 400...

And maybe an increasing fracture value for increasing extender lengths.

As well as the 3 types of connectors having more HP/fracture than even the square extenders because bigger and made of plain steel (I think).
