I changed those panels to dark armour pretty much as soon as I posted that image when I realised. I'll try purple zteks when I get a chance.

Changed it a bit.

Moved the tribar back so I could get bigger front panels, shielding the front zteks a bit.

But it doesn't feel like it's doing much with crushing teeth! I might have to forsake the innermost star for some inward protection to stop the stars coming off as much.

i probably wouldnt use crushing teeth on this design, its just a flaw with the saw design. if I were you i may try quad zteks, at least that way you have a better chance of the saws lasting but it'll probably need a thorough rebuild with that solution.

Ra2 is crashing more than my grandfather at the hospital on this computer so I can't test too much, but as far as I can tell it's not a complete embarrasment with this setup.

Still want saws though. I'll rebuild it tommorow. The thing I don't like about quad zteks is that you can't stack on the inner ap on each side.

Got enough wasted weight to get big zteks but that will need a widened chassis, which I cba with today.

Right, so I widened the chassis, realised that the hitbox of the ninja star is circular so this thing won't be doing much gutripping, why should I bother with bigger, heavier motors that are more likely to get hit? Ninja stars have frequency anyway.

I also got a snowplow on the back.

yeah, ninjas are basically IF sawblades. i really haven't found a whole lot of a use for them tbh (they also have weird hp values, just give it a look) since they basically only are able to grind and not launch things. I guess you could use them on a gutripper or something? only thing else I thought of was doing something like this which is basically a popup killer that is supposed to ride on top of opponents and grind them, since like crushing teeth wouldn't work there.

also i heartily believe that weapon hp/dmg > motor speed in ironforge. I don't know why, but I never see super powerful motors increase damage much like in DSL. basically just get one powerful enough that it won't get stopped and you don't really need to go much above that.

You're right, they do have odd values. You'd think the HP would increase with size. If it did, I think something like this might almost be quite good.

And Mango Tango was where I got the inspiration from. Think i've gone as far as I can with this design, with saws at least.

If a BW can get through the ~12000 hp of the combined ninja stars then I probably have other things to worry about.

And I know that sns are banned in most tourneys etc etc. I just wanted to try it out.

eh, it's a 1WD melty brain. it shouldn't be like most ironforge sns, but maybe.

Also I'm being unfair probably. it's a fine and valid design. it just reminds me of all those people using uncontrollable 1wd hs in stock trying to put MOAR WEAPONS on the design.
