Hi, when I want to download an arena or a component onto Robot Arena 2, it seems to go into a folder separate from RA2. I have tried moving the file into the RA2 file but it doesn't work. I would be very greatful for any help that anyone can give me because all I want to do is be able to make better robots than what I can make now. Thanks.

download it to a new folder and then copy alll of its contents go to the ra2 folder press paste and then when it sais do you want to overwrite prss yes to all

Is the RA2 folder RA2v1_00(D:)?

I have tried but when I paste it to the RA2 folder, nothing happens. :shock:

Ok. First download the component or arena (preferably to your desktop). Next, go to my computer/local disk (C:)/program files/infogrames/robot arena 2. Okay now if you downloaded a component I believe that you just paste it from your desktop to the components folder. Same goes for an arena; paste it in the arenas folder. I'm not sure if the files need to be decompiled before u paste it into the file. I'm having mindblock right now. I'll doublecheck when I get home. I hope this helps!

And what are you trying to install, exactly?

what you have to do is
after downloading the pack to a new folder on the desktop go into the folder. if the component is in a rar or zip extract it to the folder you made for it.
after that copy and paste the contents of the pack you just unzipped and go to my computer.open local disc (c:) i think and go to program files.searc in program files for infogrames and open robot arena 2 inside it.
if the contents that you copied are a folder called components and a cfz. just paste it in the main robot arena 2 folder and if not find the components folder and paste the contents into that.
see if that works and if not sorry.
