Back up and Re-install is my best advice to you. I have gone through 6 re installations on my computer alone :PNo wait, RA2 puts files in the registry, it might be corrupted. Try doing a reg. cleanup.
Delete RA2 after backing up bots(EVERY COPY) and try again.

do a system restore. If you had the same problem I had this works as long as you do it from before the game started not working.

Open WHATEV ... usually C:\Program Files\Infogrames\Robot Arena 2\ra2.cfg with notepad++ and change the display to thisFSDisplayWidth=800FSDisplayHeight=600FS3DDisplayWidth=800FS3DDisplayHeight=600
Does the regular pointy computer mouse show up, or the RA2 "fat" one?Anyway I think all you can do by now is not run it off an external hard drive...
