HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, well i was importing the robot arena reincarnated team from dsl 2.0 into my team, and all of the robots (Gammaraze, triclops, aquarius, scoot-or-die and topknot) work but the other one (pon2n) when i click 'ok' on the import menu it freezes my cursor, mouse and whole computer and i can't get off the application unless i press the power button on the computer which screws up my data and stuff.

I really need it to work, i have a feeling that it one of the components i don't have which is on it, but if this is happening to anyone else then i need someone to save me!!!

Yeah, that used to happen to me. I would recommend getting DSL 2.1 and then see if it works.

Sounds like there's something missing in your game then (components wise). Would it be stupid of me to suggest the hovercraft engine?

I'd just recommend the universal solution, getting a clean copy of DSL 2.1 from Sage's sig and doing it from there. Unless anyone else has other ideas XD

I believe that it was an issue with DSL 2.0. You should get 2.1 if you haven't already.

My guess is, you need the 1.2/1.3 patch for the main RA2 exe (not DSL).  That comes with the hover engine.  A quick test: type in cheatbot2 for your bot's name.  If nothing happens, you need to patch the exe.  (The complete-copy DSL's up for download include this exe, or you can get the patch from the official robotarena.com site or from GTM's download section.)

As long as the bot file is not corrupted, it should only crash when he tries to open the bot, not when he tries to import it into a team.
