If it's possible, and we could also create a program that registers AI files and components, we could move it all over to a unity-esque engine and have updated physics, no havok explosions, and battles with more than four robots. That's the dream, anyway.

Yeah. The hard bit isn't reading the .bot file, it's either loading the 3d models from the components folder or making your own identical versions of every component in a 3D modelling program. All the info needed to rebuild a bot is in the .bot file.
