its recommended that you install regular Robot arena 2 and then copy the game itself when you want to install other mods that way you can keep things like old bots safe in there own version of the game I have 20+ copies of the game on my computer :P
Yeah, it's best to have different copies for different versions. Stock bots won't fight well against DSL bots, hence why the components are hidden. Just make some even-more-awesome DSL versions of your stock bots (realistically, of course ;D)
Stock parts will never show....they are hidden, but still there so stock bots imported will not crash the game.
oof, that's a bit much, don'tya think?

I like to mod :Pit sounds like you may be experiencing similar problems to myself when I first got DSLtry downloading this http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1LTTSSJ4 its DSL 2.1 ready to play.. no problems or errors just extract and play
Why do you want to unhide them? You either play stock, or you play DSL!

some stock components were rebalanced to compete in DSL standards mixing isn't a good thingMixed vs Stock AI = over powered Mixed vs DSL AI = weaker then straight DSLmost if not all keep them both separate and play them separatelyif you want to unhide the components you will need to decompile Components.cfz and open the text files and delete the line Hidden = 2 (this makes them only accessible through cheatbot2
