DSL parts

The Beta burst motor doesn't show up in the arenas. It is in the bot lab.



Anyone have an explination/fix.

I am runing DSL 2.1 over a 1.3 patched RA2 game in Windows 7 64 with a Intel Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family Graphics card.

Check betaburst2.txt in the Components/styles folder.


Make sure the line


alwaysvisible = True


is there.  If it is and it still doesn't work, I don't know what's wrong.  Nor do I know why that line would be missing in the first place...


Edit:  Wait it looks like everything on the baseplate is invisible, not just the Beta motor.  That's weird.  Maybe it is a graphic card issue...

Ok this is getting weird. Everything works and looks fine in my Clash Cubes AI pack. Any explinations or is RA2 just weird?

i think it may be because the parts were put in your game before you updated it, they appeared when i updated ra2

Problem solved. Took components CFZ from CCAI, components folder from CCAI, and RA2.exe from CCAI and put them in my copy of DSL and it now works normaly.
