Okay, this will more than likely seem very n00by.
I did do a search but to no avail.
I don't get Hamachi.
You download it, you join a server... then what?

Sorry if I'm asking something stupid or something that's been asked loads before, but I'd like to play online and, heh, I don't get it :P

Join an RA2 server. Make a match appointment with someone. Get in Multiplayer in RA2, click the "LAN" option and you're good to go.

Thanks. It seems I lost Hamachi when my laptop died a few months back.
I'm re-installing, and it's taking eons 'Configuring Hamachi network adapter'
Hope this is normal >.<

You just got the endless config screen of doom. You're not gonna be able to use it without manually hammering on it for two hours and giving up in exhaustion.

I got it okay. Since everything else had installed, I got into Windows Task Manager, End Task-ed the installer, then got into Hamachi fine. Played first matches last night. It was fun.
