Alright, I need to sound stupid for a minute.
« on: May 11, 2011, 06:40:45 PM »
If I were to reinstall RA2, could I make a folder on my desktop, and then install RA2 into that folder?
If I did just that, would RA2 run? And would installing AI packs into that RA2 be easier then messing with the Program Files(x63) thing?

Good enough.

Alright, so now I need to go and find all my bot files, make back-ups of them, re-install my copy to my desktop, then FINALLY get a "good" AI set for it.

RA2 doesn't need to be installed to work (well, except from the first time). You can just copy the folder and it works fine.

@Above posters: Funny thing is, I already did all the junk I said.
I now have Starcore AI bots, they all work and what-not, except its only showing 3 at a time(Which I dont mind by the way, I still get some of the cooler ones like Clockwork Hydra and what-not)

Also, I cant find the download for the AI parts. If someone could direct me to it, I would all set.
(I'll worry about all my cheatbots later)

EDIT: Found the AI-Parts thing.
NOW I'm all set  :gawe:

What if you have all the RA2 stuff backed up on an external drive?  Can you import it to a new computer and play it without installing?

You can play it even when on the hardrive.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

I have a copy of DSL on a USB Stick so I can play it on the laptops at school. So no, it doesn't need installing XD
