rename "botapp.asdf" to "botapp.exe"

its as simple that...

look through the files winrar gave you find
"botapp.asdf"

and
rename "botapp.asdf" to "botapp.exe"

All the work is gone? What happened? This is an AWSOME game BTW. Almost as good as stock RA2. I would pay 13 bucks as of now. But what are the contols. I know W and E is forward and S and D is backward. Whats the rest?

Frenzy's weapon is space and shift and space to turn on Nightmare and Minion's discs (you don't have to hold it, just press it).

...it's what you need to make a game. without it, there's nothing. stop posting about this, you are NOT capable of making RA3. Please lurk more before you try to make  major contributions.

I know IM not capable, I never said I was. Those threads I made, I just thought that maybe we could rebuild it( WE as in you guys) It would be a miracle if I could mod but im not good with computers.

I have tried the game and I loved it. Cant someone decipher the source code from the game? And anyways who knows what could happen he could probably try to do it again

@RPJK (if you still read this after so long): Sadly it's impossible to create "useful" source code out of a binary. It is possible to create a "source code file" from a binary that will compile, but that's not useful. All the variables will names like "awf2f" instead of "number_of_bullets_left". Despite common belief source code is for humans, not for computers.

Oh dear, oh dear. How can people always lose source code in some way? Even the bigger projects only are 1MB of source code in total.

If I ever get my hands on a lot of free time I am willing to make "RA3". Before you start yelling "NOT GOING TO HAPPEN" and "YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT", yes I do. I can't handle it alone, but if we can get a team together (maybe with http://gamedev.net/) we can do it.

Just my 2 (euro)cents.
