My favorite console controller will always be the gamecube. Really nice and ergonomic with an easy layout.

That's something I can agree on- I've always liked the Gamecube controller, and I still use it to this day as part of my Wii    :approve:

I'm a hardcore gamer, and I'm concerned about getting bullied at school.

They bully kids over consoles these days?  Damn I am getting old.

I guess bullying over race or sexual preference got old.  :P

I'm just sticking to being loyal to the 360 because I <3 the controller layout.  Simple as that.
I feel the same about the controllers, I just find the ps3 controllers too small and the shape is arkward to use with bigger hands than a 10 year olds
I have massive hands and still find the Xbox controllers too big...
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

Wait what? A thread where Hard Bot flames Nintendo and praises everything else on the market, despite having awful points about the Nintendo consoles and having not even tried one of them.. Where have we seen something like this before?

Wii U shows Ninty trying to make a hardcore breakthrough, I think. 3DS.. meh, I might actually get one, depending on the games coming out - especially seem as though my new wireless router isn't compatible with my original DS.

Kinect = Eyetoy.2 to me. I see no appeal..

But guys...I have to tell you a secret: before I liked Gran Turismo, I liked Mario Kart, until I was 9. Our first system was a Nintendo 64. I still liked it when we got a Wii. Enigma even let me play it on his DS. But during Christmas of 2009, we got a PS3. 1 of the games we got was GT5 Prologue. I was happy with this system, and since then it was Gran Turismo favorite video game series.

And hence you've been unable to see the merit in any other style of gaming?

When I liked Nintendo, some of my favorite games were Wii Sports, Fit and Sports Resort. But all of this was before I found out Nintendo rarely made hardcore games.

just because a game isn't full of guys spewing 500 gallons of blood (1892.70589 liters for non-americans) everywhere doesn't mean it's not enjoyable
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Wii U- I'm very suspicious of this thing. I'm convinced of it having enhancers to it's graphics, but I have seen a lot of smiting to it at my school. I don't know what it really is, but I have seen most of it's games as childish, so I'm not buying it. I already have a PS3, and it would pointless for me to buy it. I'm a hardcore gamer, and I'm concerned about getting bullied at school. I would give it a 5/10.

so Zelda isn't hardcore? I know many people who got the latest Zelda when it came out, and they are hardcore gamers. I hate people who think that just because a game doesn't have guns or gore, it isn't "hardcore". Is someone who spends years to make the perfect Pokemon team any less hardcore than the guy who gets level 100 prestige in MW3?

Geez, you people need to get a reality check. Nintendo is not "childish".

Wii U may have Skyrim...'nuf said.

Also I agree on the NGC controller being the best. Another thing about the Wii U, tho: Now that it's a 2-handed controller, the games won't be so motion-control-centered, thus seeming less 'exercise-y'.

Because Wii Sports/Fit are DEFINITELY the most hardcore Nintendo/Wii games out there. All consoles have their merits, and excel in different areas. It frustrates me when people like you, Hard Bot, can't recognize that.

Kudos to Microsoft for trying though, and it seems to have extended the 360s life considerably.

There is no way to make an original motion game without ripping off the Wii.

As much as I hate it, it did have its good qualities for a while.

I just read an article online that Nintendo is responible for killing hardcore gamers with their Wii and DS systems. That was why hardcore gamers did not like the Wii because because of graphics, Wiimote, targeted audience, and the lack of games at that difficulty.

I hate to agree with Hard Bot, because he never seems to defend my arguments, but I don't like the Wii as a GAMER because it's not something that I could use for most of my favorite games, since I've never liked anything Nintendo (mainly Mario) after the Gamecube. However, I don't criticize people that use the Wii because everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Except Playstation users. They suck.
