More than most. Almost all companies.

And Treyarch haven't used all that potential at all. They concentrate on their XBox and PS3 stuff. Admit it.

Treyarch could easily make a game FOR the Wii, and it'd be great and all you people could be quiet about there 'not being enough hardcore games', but instead they port it and make it awful.

And so concluding my point you can't blame the console, or Nintendo etc. It's the developers, that you all put so highly.

True - Arc System Works, Marvelous Interactive, Jupiter, maybe Camelot (maybe), whoever made 9H9P9D and whoever made Dark Souls are the only companies (in the RPG/Combat sector, I don't look into the others) who focus on gameplay over moneygrabbing nowadays.

Cases in point:

BlazBlue series (Ports of the arcade version, admittedly, but still awesome)
Luminous Arc series (Okay, they've got less good... Granted Luminous Arc 1 and 2 were difficult and I've never played 3 because it's not out in English, but they hit simulation and I tried to throw myself overboard when I heard how much they were changing my precious plot)
Subarashiki Kono Sekai (The World Ends With You) (I mean, just LOOK at that battle system! And before you go all "Square made TWEWY", Jupiter invented the battle system and it's thanks to them that TWEWY's so good)
Golden Sun series (Alright, DD was a bit of a letdown in terms of difficulty, but hey, it had a good story... kinda)
9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (Have you ever SEEN a game this utterly GRIPPING come out of a modern company? Probably not. Sonny can testify to this game's greatness)
Dark Souls (Never played it, but this comic sums it up pretty well)

But if the amount of bad games weigh out the good ones, wouldn't that mean it still is a disadvantage, even though it is not Nintendo's fault.

This is true, and I can't argue against it. But...

The Wii works as a gamecube. It can play Virtual Console. In itself it now has more than enough good games that it can play, technically.

I know you could turn it around with the Virtual Console, but it isn't as easy to obtain those games as the GCN games are.

Hmm fair point. I can't deny this.

You win. The Wii needs more good games to be at the same level as the PS3 for Hardcore gamers, and less crappy ports.

Your point was that there wasn't enough hardcore games. Not that the ratio of good:bad had to be like 999:1 like the XBox or PS3 must surely be for it to be as good as you make out
