As I said, I can't make one of those, it would be too difficult to choose, I would look at the list and go 'But...this is better than that because of this, and that is better because of that...'

So here is my opinion, in no particular order PC=DS=DSLite=3DS=Dreamcast=Gameboy Pocket (Got one of those today, Tetris is awesome)=GBA=GBASP=N64=PS3=36=Wii=Snes=PS1=PS2=Gamecube=PSP=Gameboy Colour...=Magnavox Odyssey=Amiga=Commodore 64 (gotta love my dad for having retro consoles that I have played)...I think that is all the ones I have played...oh, wait, =Megadrive

All of those consoles have good points, bad points, and games that are memorable. And I may receive some flak for this, but it is just my opinion, I find it quite difficult to judge consoles after playing and enjoying playing them

Didn't read the thread but felt the need to post.

Wii isn't meant for sim anything, especially something as complicated as racing. From a pure aim standpoint, a computer is the only way to go. Because it has every real sim, while the xbox and ps3 have the point and go arcade racers. Like gt5 and forza. A real sim is iRac- *is shot*

I won't buy the WiiU because I dislike home consoles. They lack... portability... and yet manage to steal most of the "best" games (I'm looking at you, BlazBlue Continuum Shift)

Only good Wii cames for me are

- Mario Kart Wii
- Super Smash Bros Brawl
- Marioparty 8
- Guitar Hero 3

I also have Dirt2, but it's horrible in wii... Very very horrible.

I've never seen a GOOD simulator in Wii. If anyone tries to make one for Wii, he/she's doing it wrong.

That said, the good arcade-y games for the Wii pretty much equals the good arcade-y games for the XBOX and PS3 combined.

The Wii wasn't made for sims, or racing games of any kind. It was made for games that involve movement (admittedly, not many of the frontline games include MUCH movement at all, since the average gamer is a couch potato (no offense, it's a generalisation)), and sims... don't

This is my console war view:

PC > PS3 > 360 > Wii

I wouldn't exactly call the PC a console for games. Sure, the ps3, 360 and other consoles can do all sorts of things now, but they are just to generally to play games. PC's on the other hand, are made to do several different things, not just games. Its more a platform to which games can be played on

I will agree to this 100% of the way. Sure, you make a game to make money out of it (most of the time), but if it was just made to make money, the game usually stinks like horse shiz. Other games that I have played, that were not just made for the money (amnesia, Doom, Sacred 2(the company went bankrupt from it, thats commitment)) were extremely awesume to play, as well as some well made free games (mostly RPG style games)

NOW, onto the topic of the wii. You either hate it or love it. I may be one of those hardcore gamers, coach potatoes as you say, but I still enjoy a good game on the wii. I don't have many titles on the wii (manly as I don't buy many games anymore) but the ones I have I rather enjoy, from Mario Kart, to Bakugan and Ultimate Alliance 2. And for you to care about graphics? sure they can make it more appleasing, but if you just go by graphics, then your not a real gamer, your just a walking money bag to the game companies. The Wii (last time I checked) has actually beaten both the PS3 and Xbox 360 in sales, and as much as most gamers won't admit it, owns the market. Apart from Blizzard (damn WoW).

Im not trying to shut down either the PS3 or Xbox 360, and even though I don't own either, or ever touched a PS3, I still enjoy a good MP game with the xbox over at friends place, and I am thinking about getting the PS3 for the latest R&C games (been too long ever since the ps2 was taken out of the loop). They are both great consoles in retrospect, but saying that the wii is bad, childish and overrated is just going a bit overboard

And I bet most of those games are pre 2002, right? Pre-2005 at the most

There is still hope, but it is slowly disappearing..
Alot of games are becoming to much involved in graphical side and money side, a lot of games like to boast about there graphical quality, ask them hows the gameplay and they will just say "its good"

There is still some that not just work for money, but for the game to be of any good. It's becoming rarer, but I find that actually finding a game like that is a lot more refreshing

Why did you lose faith in the Wii? Not enough shooters? Not enough graphics? Not enough processing power, despite the fact some games on the Wii use most of its processing power (see SM Galaxy and NiGHTS, among others)? Too family-orientated? Not designed for online play? Too much of a pioneering console?

The games for the Wii sucked (like I said before, but It can be improved), online play is annoying (said before. Friend codes, really?). Also, the games on the Wii just don't appeal to me.
