What is this about? I always hear people recommend this and LISA.

Anyway, I absolutely love this game. I'm always amazed that the creator, who had barely any coding experience, did most of the development using Game Maker, Paint for sprites and backgrounds, and his creative mind. The music is outstanding especially, though it suffers a bit in terms of gameplay and graphics. My picks are An Ending, UNDERTALE, Death by Glamour, and Finale.

Currently about to date Papyrus in my replay of pacifist. Preparing for lotsa spaghetti, but I can't wait to get to the true lab. It's been really long since I last played that area and those VHS tapes have so many implications

By the way, did people like Alphys? She always seems to get a lot of hate; sure the constant calls were annoying but she's pretty funny and I think I liked her better than the fish. Also the people who have replied seem to either not have enjoyed the story+characters very much or are just embarrassed to add anything because of tumblr being tumblr

I liked Alphys.  I liked pretty much every character though, except for maybe one.

I saw part of a let's play of LISA and didn't really care for it.  I think it's because LISA put you in a lot of situations where there was really no good outcome, just a bad outcome or a slightly less bad outcome.  Undertale always has a way for there to be a good outcome.  Don't know much about OFF, but I like the music.

Nah Undertale was fun the fast time through but it's really slow to replay more than a couple of times, since everything is very scripted your actual experience wanes once you've seen each route and there's no real reason to play it again

I will admit, the first route I did was the True Pacifist (well, technically I did a neutral first, but you know what I mean), and I have no plans to play through the game again.  Most story-driven games do tend to have lower replay value though, I would think.

OFF is alright. It's a story-driven RPG a lot like Undertale, but with a much darker tone and a lot of eldritch abomination-type enemies. I didn't finish it but the ending is a shocker from what I've seen.
