I just helped Ulfric take over because screw the Imperials for trying to execute me in the beginning of the game. The Stormcloaks apparently have no problem with me being a Redgaurd. Anyway, neither side is the "bad guys". Just like in most real wars, both sides have good reasons for fighting, also like real wars the whole thing is ultimately about religion. The Thalmor are the real Nazis, they'll even tell you straight up that they are the master race descended from the gods.
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.

Note that it's not like the whole empire wants to kill you. Mostly it's just one angry bitch.

And 1-they paid for it by having a fort destroyed by ALDUIN, THE WORLD EATER itself, 2- they failed.

When you sneak, you don't kill them and you can't take their stuff and go sell it

Actually, I sneak because I don't want to alert the rest. Taking them out one by one gives you a satisfactory feeling. :P

Also, I'm thinking about siding with the Stormcloaks but I have to find a way for Ulfric to get killed as well. I heard Brunwulf would be Jarl if Ulfric died, and I'm all for a dude who sympathizes with the people in the Gray Quarter. :P

And holy sh**, that was easy. I was expecting fully plated dremora with high level weapons - and i get weak dremora spellcasters.

tp yeaaah

The House of Horrors is a nice little cute quest. At least you can raise your skills by effectively torturing the guy the Demon Lord Molag Bal, the King of Rape, asks you to murder, by hitting and then healing it.

Just finished the quest. Holy sh**, Molag Bal is really not only very evil, but an asshole. He could work on adding more ham in his evil laugh though.

But what a nice mace i've got...

Wow, the only glitch that I have found myself that is worth mentioning is the guy that has wood growing out of him. It looks like he tried to cut a log with the handle of the axe, and then someone jammed a log in his wrist.

On another note, I slept for the first time, if only to activate the Dark Brotherhood quest, stole the whole armour set and the Blade of Woe from Astrid (she is now as naked as most of the people in Riften), and I killed the angry mother because she sounded like the worst one...then I got distracted by a shiny thing, and sold my stuff at the Thieves Guild
Yes that sequence of words I just said made perfect sense.

Aaah riften. Almost as bad as Markath. (too bad because Markath is a really cool looking town)

I feel like slaughtering like 50% of the population of both towns. Without getting any bounty, of course. Maybe it's worth increasing my sneak skill a bit more, or learning some invisibility spell.

If you want to be really effective with a pretty much 100% of a one shot when hidden, you will want to be at 50 Sneak and have the Assassin's Blade perk (15 times normal damage when sneak attacking with a dagger). Although it helps to have 100 pickpocket and have the Perfect Touch perk (able to steal equipped items), then start the Dark Brotherhood quest and get taken to the shack, save, get hidden, and then try to steal all of Astrid's items (Blade of Woe (22 damage dagger), and the entire Shrouded armour set (most notably, Shrouded Gloves where backstabs deal double damage (a hidden attack with my dagger generally does in excess of 30,000)). Or you could try powerhousing your way through whilst staying hidden.

oh wait, i just forgot about beast form. Yeah I'm a werewolf, because vampires suck.

And anyways, other towns don't care if you slaughtered half of one town right ?

Or maybe just a good enchanted dagger, with good poison.

Nope, other towns couldn't care less. Have 2,000 bounty in Riften, stay in Whiterun. As far as I know, I haven't had a bounty yet... apart from that one time where Fus Ro hit the dragon and the three guards behind it, got 43 bounty for it. Used it as an excuse to get the achievement for breaking out of jail.

It has staggered it long enough for me to get a good sprinting power attack on it before, as well as a few followup hits.

Something tells me that my thievery utterly screwed up a quest. Catching the murderer in Windhelm, I had already stolen the key to his house from him, opened the chest and got the journal that you are supposed to get at the end of the quest. I then went pillaging random houses, unlocked one of them, and it told me that I had started a quest, I did all of the research, randomly talked to the mage, and killed the murderer. Pretty sure I skipped at least half of the quest by pickpocketing and being sneaky. Then again, it's just reminiscent of cheating for all minerals in Spectrobes, and skipping half of the game by talking to that guy again and giving him a diamond.

Decided to start playing Oblivion again (I was spening too much time on Crackdown.)
Ah, Dark Brotherhood...you remind me so much of my Morag-Tong days. A bow and arow, a kill and no bounty...Morrowind provided happy days.

Also, Nary, if you like evil torture peoples, play the Oblivion: Shivering Isles quests. Sheogorath tells you to set up a fake dungeon that lures travellers and foreigners in, so that you can torture them and take their belongings for the good of the isle.

Yeah i've done the whole dark brotherhood quest as well, and it was funny. Also, good way to make money and train sneak.

Also, I am now level 30 and joining the legion, after killing the emperor :trollface . First quest is insanely difficult. So a half naked bandit marauder wielding a dwarven war hammer can kill me in 4-5 power attacks, despite me being clad in legendary dragonscale armor and having 60 in light armor. And facing my legendary glass sword. I won by using scrolls and shouts and poison and health potions. Can't even use restoration magic, they DPS me faster than I can heal.

This is ridiculous, even the blood dragons are easier than a bandit !
