I could do it but I've never done competitive before. Switched to mostly stock Demo/Heavy stuff to train, but I have no frame of reference for how well I'd actually do

EDIT: They can frustrate me but I can keep up with my Silver friends

Bear in mind that this is also a unpriced hat. It's an all-class with two different styles. It also goes with a lot.

tl:dr
I was buying unusuals as I have 73 keys ready in my backpack. He was selling me a Wrapped Hat with Massed Flies. Something that I was already interested in prior to the conversation. Was thinking of buying one. During the conversation, I went and checked the community market and found one for £59. Bought it and now I'm taking offers on it. I told this guy that I had found one and had bought it. He took it surprisingly well so kudos to him.

Massed Flies is only really worth anything on Sniper, it's among the worst effects otherwise. Suppose the hat itself is pretty good though.

Only have 2 unusuals myself since I'm not a collector, and I've quit comp TF2 for the time being. Green Energy Texas Ten Gallon and Aces High Glasgow Great Helm.

How would you cheeky lads feel about using the steam group to organise TF2 meetups, we can get a few people on together and play payload or whatever together. I could probably get a private room for GTM in a 300-slot TS that I'm an admin on too.

i hope to the heavens above that competitive weeds out the garbage players, I am sick and tired of where every match i join my teammates don't own monitors and the enemy team are all seasoned assassins with 0 ping

As a CSGO (and sometimes Dota2) player, MM will NOT help. If you want quality games, join a team and find matches via IRC using pcwfinder.com. It's incredible how much it improves the game.

im just so sick of always being on the garbage team

there is sort of a ranked system in tf2 matchmaking, it should help at least a bit i assume? and at least in comp there's SOME degree of communication

Sounds like it's gonna be very similar to CSGO's system. It helps a bit with skill gap (fewer total stomps, but they're still there) but there is going to be a LOT of ragers and salty assholes in the games. Have fun ;DD.
