Sure the suit makes it look fat, but it's actually tied for the third-fastest class after Medic and Scout (As well as Sniper, Spy and Engi, whom it shares its default speed with), and has better health than all of them- ergo, probably the best balance between speed and health you can get without any buffs.


Eh, just feels slow to me. Not sure why.
I will get all these, but I'll wait 'til all the fuss dies down and I can get them cheap.

And the sign won't be OP, I think. There aren't many sections of water, Pyro is slow, and he had nothing that was any good in water anyway (apart from shotgun.. but mer, I like my det/scorch).

Melee is a 2fort funhouse weapon.
Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

I feel that way about the Soldier. I'm used to it with Heavy, since obviously if you're carrying a 150kg Minigun about, you're going to be slow, but Soldier...for some reason, he feels even slower.

First impressions:

Neon Annihilator - A slight downgrade from the Axtinguisher, I'd rather use my Shotty when underwater. Still better than the Axe.
Heatmaker - Probably a sidegrade at most. I'd consider this a buff against Spies and a very small nerf against Pyros. On par with the Tommy when roaming, but worse than the Mini when pocketed.
Flying Guillotine (w00t) - A huge upgrade from the Wrap Assassin, but still worse than the Atomizer.
Red-Tape Recorder - Ridiculously OP.
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)

Seconded Impressions: (oh god I'm so punny)

Neon Annihilator - Pyro campers in 2fort up the wazoo.. It'll make the sewers more dangerous though.

Heatmaker - I love the look of it, but it seems like it's going to be a combination of Heavy's W+M1 tactics and Pyro's W+M1 tactics. It's going to be more of a pest trying to avoid confrontations with Heavies because of this weapon.

Flying Guillotine - I like it, and it'll be useful, but I'd have to choose between my beloved Atomizer and this.

Red-Tape Recorder - Waaaay overestimated. Nothing but a distraction really, as it takes forever to completely reverse a full fledged Level 3 Sentry. It'll be very useful because it powers down the Sentry though, so a few of these would buy me enough time to steal intel if the Spy can't kill the sentry in time.

Various Hats and shiz - I'm liking that dragon tattoo.

Whoops. My bad.

In that case, it's probably the worst one along with the drinks. Both pistols are still great when you have the Scatty/Popper equipped, but Mad Milk is still a must-have when you actually stick with your teammates.

I still stand by my opinion that the Recorder is a direct upgrade over the stock Sapper. Whittle down a lvl 3 building to lvl 1 and the Engie's gonna have to spend 400 metal to build it back up. A level downgrade will hurt more than regular damage, so it's also a huge nerf to combat Engies.

I've since watched videos of the guillotine, with the right aim and the sandman its a monster- 150 damage + bleeding on a crit. o:

Alright, so J was able to get his hands on a 2nd Third Degree, so as such, I have crafted my own:


And like the jackass I tend to be, I went trolling with it.
Found a "beach party" map, and just sat in the water the whole time, which was the only way for the Blu team to get over to our Red Engies.
Long story short, I was 1-hit-killing people all day, and it was beautiful.

Just got myself a Flying Guillotine.
It's not that good but is SO much fun to chuck at people.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

Well in that case, I need to find a Sandman and then test my love for my beloved lovely Atomizer..

But a Sandman + Guillotine loadout would be pretty beastly if you're fast enough.

Because you don't need to hold the Atomizer to use it's effect (I could be holding my Primary weapon and it'd work regardless)
