Standing near the payload gives you infinite ammo and health.
Payload in a nutshell.
Just load up your Heavies, and watch out for Spies/Snipers, and you pretty much declare game every time.

Actually, if you wanna win every match, just make sure your team has 1 Medic more than theirs.

Back then, I just went Pyro and hopped onto the cart, deflecting enemies and projectiles the whole game, while 2 Heavy-Medic teams roam around and mowing down anyone who dares go near the cart. That was the only time I got around 12 consecutive captures.
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)

UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)

10 medics vs 9 + 1 heavy? seems legit.

Yea, I forgot that.
Medics + Heavies are essential to Payloads.

I often win Payload just as Pyro crouching behind the cart. Everyone's often too bothered with killing each other to notice.
Other points in relation to recent conversations in this topic.
1. I got true Mates Rates for my lovely new Strange Rainblower - thanks Marty ;D
2. Take away backstab 1HKO's and you take out the point of backstabs.
3. Thank god for the Backburner now having equal damage to other flamers.
4. Loadouts!
Scout: Soda Popper, Pocket Pistol, Fish
Soldier: Beggar's Bazooka, Reserve Shooter, Escape Plan
Pyro 1: Strange Festive Flamer, Strange Detonator, Homewrecker/Third Degree (with Sight for Sore Eyes, Bubble Pipe and Professor's Pineapples)
Pyro 2: Strange Rainblower, Scorch Shot, Lollichop (with SfSS, Infernal Orchestrina and Professor's Pineapples)
Demo: Loch n Load, Sticky Jumper, Caber ;)
Heavy: Tomislav, Buffalo Steak Sandvich, Warriors Spirit/Gloves of Running Urgently
Engie: Pomson/Widowmaker, Pistol, Eureka
Medic: Crusaders Crossbow/Blutsauger, Quick Fix/Medigun, Amputator/Vitasaw
Sniper: Hitman's Heatmaker, Cleaner's Carbine, Bushwacka
Spy: Ambassador, Spycicle, Dead Ringer/Cloak and Dagger.

Phew. That was long.

So, as usual, me derping around on Saxton Hale servers....
Everyone finds it amusing how my Heavy runs faster then Scouts and Saxton.

Also, why is everyone else bad at being Pyro on that server? They just rush in, do about 2K damage, and die.
They have the whole hit-n-run strategy figured out, BUT Y THEY NO KNOW WHEN TO TIME HALE'S RAGE!?
Srsly, you wanna wait until after he rages, to go in and spam fire.

Really, other Pyros get like 2000-ish damage.
Me? I do like 3000 to 8000(It depends on how many Spies are on the team).
Hell, I've even been using the pan for my melee weapon, and even getting screenshots of it all. Its quite funny, really..

Show me a frequented pub server that has more than 3 Medics (chosen at their own will) total at any instance and I just might retract my statement above. :P

Lol.

Just had a terrible game on orange, which reminded me how much I hate engineers. Sure, I can eventually deal with 4 sentries on top of the tower via flying demoman, thats fine. But when your team allows an ubered heavy to kill 90% of them, which in turn allows the four engies to set up level 3 sentries positioned that you can't even turn the corner.....

Couldn't even destroy them from above like I normally do as soldier, because one was positioned on the wall I rocket jump onto. Oh, and there were snipers bodyshotting everyone who did manage to push out. Eugh. Rant over.

Damn, sounds pretty awful. Still preferable to cheap instant death from behind, though.

Nah. If you pay any attention at all you can avoid that. Machina Bodyshots are so much cheaper, and the only way you can avoid that is by going spy and cloaking past, uber, or by someone else (or you) headshotting them before they bodyshot you.

That's the thing, you see- I can deal with them just fine when I'm the Pyro, but whenever I go as anyone else, they always miraculously gain the ability to instantly kill me from the front, even if I've never turned my back on them.

In comparison, yes Sniper shots are also cheap, but I'm more OK with those considering that they're easier to avoid when you can see the Sniper, and that it does take some skill to line up a proper shot.
To deal with them, I tend to move around erratically as I come towards them so that they can't hit me, and then once I've found their location, I move in for the kill. It's particularly satisfying when I can trap them in their own rooms and burn them to death.

Talking of which, I had a rather good run as Sniper the other night- got three Achievements (Shoot the Breeze, Robbin' Hood and Uberrectomy) , and a rather good number of headshots with my Huntsman.

I later played again in new getup- Sydney Sleeper, Jarate, Bushwhacka, and the Master's Yellow Belt- a moveset based entirely on piss, in other words. Those Spies never knew what hit 'em    :trollface
