The best fan-game is Portal: Still Alive, or Amnesia: The Dark Descent (Built off of HL2, so technically a HL2 fangame)

SRB2 Doesn't even get the title of best SONIC fan game. That goes to Sonic Megamix.

Plus, the graphics look like it's from 2004.

Just mellow out, put some Nujabes on, and accept that people have different opinions to you.

Duke Nukem Forever was in development since 1996, and that came out as a (half-decent) FPS with actually quite decent graphics. There was nothing to stop them from upgrading to something like, IDK, ID Tech 2.

And actually, yes, I have played it. The wide assortment of characters was exciting, and the fact that it was online was pretty cool.

Then I got a game called Sonic Adventure DX.

acams/goose/admins/mods have been running the site for around 8 years now, and they dont show any intention of taking it down just because of the people on there, if they dont like how someone is behaving, they'll ban them
